Insert tribal description.

Insert #genera and #species; global distribution; seven genera and ?? species (?? endemic, ?? introduced) in China.

Insert key to genera.

Note 1: manuscripts are still needed from China for: Ormosia Jackson, 35 species recognized in FRPS; and Salweenia E. G. Baker, one species (W Sichuan, E Xizang) treated in Robinieae in FRPS 40: 226. 1994.

Note 2: some of the synonymy given in FRPS seems to be missing here. Unless it was incorrect, it needs to be added back. All names described from Chinese types must be accounted for, either as accepted names, synonyms, or (for misidentifications) in notes. Certainly all names accepted in FRPS, regardless of where the types are from, must be accounted for somewhere in FOC.
